The Story Behind the Stash

Meet Sugarfoot

Sugarfoot is our fictional keeper of the sweet stuff—a backroom character inspired by the hidden deliveries, candy counters and bottling works of the Prohibition era. While everyone else worried about what was in the bottle, Sugarfoot knew where to find the candy.

His shipments were never quite the same twice: a couple of old-fashioned sodas, a stash of familiar sweets, a few candy-counter oddities and always something unexpected tucked inside.
