Meet the Makers

Two Small-Batch Makers Behind the Counter

One carefully roasts the coffee. The other slowly crafts the caramel. Together, they turn an everyday cup into a coffeehouse treat worth lingering over.

Center Valley, Pennsylvania

Red Door Coffee Roaster

Red Door Coffee Roaster began with Jim and Diana Hall-Yurasits, a husband-and-wife team with decades of experience welcoming people around the table. Their name comes from the red door’s historic association with hospitality—a sign that travelers had found a place to rest, share a meal and feel welcome.

From their Center Valley roasting room, Red Door works with specialty-grade Arabica beans sourced from notable coffee-growing regions around the world. Every variety is roasted in small batches to bring forward the character already present in the bean.

The result is coffee with a distinctly local connection: selected from across the world, carefully roasted in Pennsylvania and made for the simple pleasure of sharing a good cup.

Caramel Kitchen

Caramel Kitchen began when founder Stephanie Hunter made a batch of salted caramel sauce for her own family. She shared it with friends and neighbors, and their repeated requests for more encouraged Stephanie and her husband, Brad, to turn a homemade favorite into a family business.

The earliest batches were prepared only six jars at a time. As the company grew from a home kitchen to larger kettles and a dedicated production space, it remained committed to making all-natural caramel sauce in carefully controlled batches.

Rich enough for dessert but easy enough for an everyday treat, the sauce can be stirred into coffee, drizzled over ice cream or fruit, added to baked goods or enjoyed one spoonful at a time.

Behind the Pairing

Where the Coffeehouse Meets the Caramel Kitchen

Coffee and caramel belong to two different crafts, but they meet naturally in the cup. Roasted coffee brings depth, aroma and gentle bitterness; slowly cooked caramel adds buttery sweetness and a smooth finish.

This Little Story brings those crafts together through two independent American makers—one close to home in Pennsylvania and one whose family recipe grew from six handmade jars at a time.

The recipient can enjoy each product on its own or combine them to create caramel coffee, dessert drinks and quiet coffeehouse moments without leaving home.
