Family-run beekeeping, raw local honey, and one-of-a-kind spreadable flavors
Awckland’s Sugar Shack & Apiary
Awckland’s Sugar Shack & Apiary began in 2012 with a single beehive in the family’s front yard. As their interest in beekeeping grew, Mike eventually made it his full-time work, and his daughter Sarah later joined him in the bee yards.Today, the family cares for approximately 250 hives throughout Bucks, Berks, Lehigh, and Montgomery Counties. Along with raw local honey, Awckland’s is known for its creative spreadable honeys featuring sweet, savory, spicy, and seasonal flavors.

Awckland’s raw and varietal honeys come from carefully tended hives and distinctive floral sources. Their local Pennsylvania honey is gathered from hives throughout Bucks, Berks, Lehigh, and Montgomery Counties, while other varietals reflect the flowers and regions where the honey was produced. Each variety offers its own natural color, aroma, and flavor.
