Who May Order
Eligibility & Account Responsibility
You must be legally able to enter into a binding transaction in order to make a purchase through Gift With a Story.
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity that occurs through your account.

What We Sell
Products, Descriptions & Availability
We make reasonable efforts to describe products, gift contents, sizes, flavors, varieties, packaging and other features accurately.
Because many of our products come from independent makers and specialty producers, availability, packaging, labels, sizes, ingredients or product presentation may occasionally change.
Product photographs are intended to represent the item or gift as accurately as reasonably possible, but colors and presentation may vary depending on lighting, screens, seasonal packaging and maker updates.
We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products or remove an item from sale without prior notice.

Pricing, Payment & Taxes
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Applicable shipping charges, taxes and other amounts will be shown during checkout when required.
Payment must be successfully authorized before an order is completed.
We reserve the right to correct pricing, description or technical errors. If a material error affects an order already submitted, we may contact you before fulfillment.

Personalized Stories & Custom Messages
Some gifts allow you to provide names, occasions, memories or other details that become part of the gift experience.
You are responsible for reviewing the information you submit and making sure names, dates and custom wording are accurate.
Unless you specifically request exact wording, personalization details may be adapted into the style or format used for the selected gift.

Personalized preparation may begin before the gift is packed.Once custom or personalized preparation has begun, changes, cancellations or returns may no longer be possible.
Information You Provide
Personalization Content
You are responsible for information, wording, images or other content you provide for a personalized order.
You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, fraudulent, obscene, infringing or otherwise inappropriate.
We may decline to print, reproduce or incorporate content that we reasonably believe is inappropriate, unlawful or inconsistent with our services.
On Its Way
Shipping & Delivery
Available shipping methods and charges are shown during checkout.
Carrier transit estimates generally begin after the gift has been prepared, packed and transferred to the carrier.
Carrier delivery estimates are not normally guaranteed. Weather, holiday volume, transportation issues and other circumstances outside our control may affect delivery.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Seasonal Products
Preorders & Advent Calendars
Certain seasonal products, including Advent calendars, may be offered for preorder before fulfillment begins.
A preorder reserves the product subject to the terms, timing and availability shown on the applicable product page.
Estimated fulfillment dates may change because of product availability, maker delays, transportation conditions or other circumstances.
Please review preorder information carefully before completing your purchase.
Gifts Over Time
Monthly Clubs
Monthly Clubs are multi-shipment gift programs that may be offered for a stated number of months, such as 3, 6 or 12 months.
The individual club page explains the products, duration, payment structure and anticipated shipment schedule for that club.
Club contents may vary by month and may be subject to maker availability and seasonal selection.
Unless specifically stated otherwise on the product page, purchasing a fixed-term prepaid club does not automatically renew after the purchased term ends.
Larger Projects
Corporate & Multiple-Recipient Orders
Corporate, employee, client and other larger gifting projects may require separate planning, pricing, lead times and shipping arrangements.
Any project-specific quote, proposal or written agreement may contain additional terms that apply to that order.
When project-specific terms conflict with these general website terms, the written project agreement will control for that project.
Order Issues
Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
Food and beverage items generally cannot be returned after delivery for food-safety reasons.
Personalized stories, custom messages, custom-prepared gifts and made-to-order combinations may also be ineligible for return or cancellation once preparation has begun.
Items that arrive damaged, incorrect, defective or missing will be reviewed according to our order-issue policy.

Food Products
Ingredients, Allergies & Dietary Needs
Food products are manufactured and labeled by the individual product makers.
Products may contain or be processed around common allergens including peanuts, tree nuts, milk, wheat, soy, eggs, sesame and other ingredients.
You and the recipient are responsible for reviewing the manufacturer's ingredient and allergen information before consuming a product.
Please contact us before ordering when a recipient has a serious allergy or dietary restriction.
